KUCHING, April 8 (Bernama) -- An e-hailing company, Maxim Malaysia has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sarawak Society for the Blind (SSB) to provide free transport service.

The MoU  was signed by Maxim Malaysia director, Mohd Hazwan Musley and SSB chairman Ronald Thomas Ronny Law in a ceremony here today.

Mohd Hazwan said through the MoU, Maxim will provide SSB with three accounts to make bookings in the application to any destination in Sarawak for free for a period of one year.

He said a promo code worth RM50 will also be given to all 1,800 SSB members as well as a discount for each of their trips.

"This help is very meaningful because we can share our sustenance together. We also hope that the SSB can make good use of this facility," he said at the ceremony.
