SARAWAK’S RICH CULTURAL DIVERSITY SHOWCASED IN PARIS

KUCHING, March 27 (Bernama) -- Sarawak’s rich cultural diversity and stunning landscapes were showcased in a three-day exhibition which concludes today at Secur Hall in Paris, France.

Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) in a statement today said it organised the exhibition entitled “Malaysian Borneo Unveiled: Harmony of Cultures, Nature, and Adventure” with the Permanent Delegation of Malaysia to UNESCO Paris, Department of National Heritage and Sarawak Museum Department.

It said the exhibition was organised in conjunction with the 219th UNESCO Executive Board Meeting.

“The exhibition aimed to engage delegates through vibrant displays, interactive exhibits, and discussions, highlighting the harmonious blend of diverse cultures and the natural treasures of the region.

“It featured colourful attire, accessories, and video displays. A reception on March 26 welcomed up to 100 participants, with Sarawak Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Datuk Len Talif Salleh as the honoured guest,” it added.
