84 KKD STAFF IN SARAWAK RECEIVE EXCELLENT SERVICE AWARD
KUCHING, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- A total of 84 staff from departments and agencies under the Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) in Sarawak today received the 2022 Excellent Service Award (APC).
The ministry’s secretary-general Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa presented the award at the ceremony held at the Auditorium P. Ramlee RTM.
In his speech, Mohamad Fauzi said the ministry’s staff should continue practising mutual respect and tolerance, along with a commitment to shape the identity of KKD staff with integrity.
“This will, in turn, be the most important factor in creating an advanced society that places a strong emphasis on knowledge, etiquette, culture and the spirit of love for country,” he said.
Also present were KKD senior undersecretary (management) Mazlan Abd Mutalib, Broadcasting Department (RTM) director-general Suhaimi Sulaiman and Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) chief executive officer Roslan Ariffin.
Information Department (Japen) deputy director-general (digital content) Julina Johan and the National Film Development Corporation (Finas) deputy director-general (management) Datin Rozita Waty Ridzuan also attended the ceremony.
The ceremony saw 45 recipients from RTM, 36 from Japen, two from Finas and one from Bernama receive their Excellent Service Awards.
A total of 668 civil servants from ministries, departments and agencies who have performed outstandingly during their service last year were honoured at the ceremony.
