NIRO CERAMIC GROUP TO SET UP ITS FIRST TILE SHOWROOM IN SARAWAK
KUCHING, May 10 (Bernama) -- The rapid development taking place in Sarawak has led Niro Ceramic Group (Niro), one of the largest tile maker and distributor, to launch its first showroom here.
Niro managing director Ian Kok said Sarawak is seen to be very progressive and they are excited to provide the East Malaysian market with a more comprehensive selection of innovative and cutting-edge products.
Its top priority is to meet the demands of customers and the company looks forward to being the key player in the growth and development of the East Malaysian tile market, he said at the launch of its showroom at City Square, Jalan Pending here today.
Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) Sarawak chairman Noraini Narodden and Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association deputy president Louis Ting were also present.
Niro Ceramic Group offers a variety of products from porcelain to ceramic tiles. It started producing homogeneous tiles in Switzerland in 1979. The growth in Asia led it to set up a company in Malaysia in 1988. It eventually expanded to Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Spain, India and the Philippines.
